What is this white stuff...and WHERE did it come from?!

Seriously, take a look at our patio table! I think our Autumn lasted 1 week! It will now be snowing, cold and dark from 4:30 p.m. until about 8:30 am. {sigh!}

Seriously? October 7th?

If you live in or around my area and some of this white stuff has fallen on you, please feel free to blame her...

...and him...

They have been praying since last week that it would snow soon! I know! That's what I said too!

  1. I didn't believe it in your comment, so I had to come and see for myself... snow?! Gosh! It is super early for that, but then again, maybe I'm just assuming by what I know. It looks so pretty though! :)
    I have loads of fall photos coming in the next few days; I hope they satisfy! :) We've done some great hikes and I'm planning on snapping more tomorrow and throughout the weekend. By the end of next week, you're going to be sick of seeing foliage! :)

  2. We had snow September 14th. Too early even for Colorado. Those kids!

  3. It did look pretty coming down, New England Girl - very pretty. I live in the prairies of Canada and am in the northern part of my province (not the most northern - kind of the bottom of the northern part). We will have snow until May.

  4. Wow! And to think, my sweet baby girl was dressed in shorts today! What's it like to have seasons? ; )

    And, thanks for the comment! You are my new BFF, and yes, please to the chocolate question!! ; )

  5. We do have 4 seasons here, Melissa, but not like you would expect. We have Almost Winter, I-think-my-hand-just-fell-off-from-the-cold winter, Yep, Still Winter and Was That Summer?

    I kid - kind of. Winters are incredibly long here but not as long as if you go further north and not as harsh either but, they can be harsh (Januaury usually is quite cold) and I say was that summer as we had 3 nice weeks of summer this year and 2 1/2 of those weeks were in September. {grin}

    Now, let's get to that chocolate!

  6. Growing up in Ireland the winters were so cold. I had to put my school uniform over the radiator before going to sleep at night then jump onto in the morning before I froze solid half way dressed!

    Now in Oz I moan if I need my long legged pj's! I've gone soft in my old age! Hope you have woolie jammies and dressing gowns !!!

  7. Wow! I can't believe that, keep it there, though. I'm not ready for that stuff yet. I'll be livid if we have to go trick or treating with that white stuff (I'm not even going to say the word) on the ground.

  8. Gina, my parents used to put our school clothes over the wood stove when they first woke up so we would be warm. I mastered the art of getting dressed under the covers. {grin}

  9. Hey, we have almost the same four seasons where I am. Just substitute summer for winter and winter for summer. Actually, everyone around her says we have two seasons, hot and hotter! So, I'll never complain about the "cold" around here to you. . .The other day, I had to put on a pair of socks, and I thought, wow, winter must be coming!! ; )
